Rapid Lash

Rapid Lash Warning
Rapid Lash Eyelash Renewal Serum is the latest in the procession of eyelash renewal products to include harmful chemicals to help produce the desired effects.
Prostaglandins like Cloprostenate are used in drugs that treat glaucoma. The effect on the eyelashes was first noticed when glaucoma patients started developing full, bushy and elongated lashes - an effect eventually tied to Cloprostenate.

After a few products came out with the substance, many people using the products started to experience side effects such as:
Eye irritation
Loss of vision
Eye-Color change (as drastic as blue to brown)
The ingredient contained in Rapid Lash is a slightly altered version of the harmful chemical that caused a stir not long ago - the new compound is Isopropyl Cloprostenate. Is the chemical difference enough to deter the harmful side effects that are associated with the other form of the compound?

Rapid Lash is still conducting an independent trial to find out how harmful their product can be - it may be smart to wait to buy until the results of those trials are released.

It's official: Paul McCartney will play first shows at Mets' new Citi Field
It's official. As The News posted last Friday, Paul McCartney will indeed perform the very first shows at The Mets' new home, Citi Field, on July 17th and 18th.
The shows will mirror McCartney's historic performance with the Beatles at the team's former home (Shea Stadium), which was the first music event ever held there, back on August 15, 1965.
Forty-three years later, McCartney performed at the final show at Shea, as a guest star for Billy Joel's run there in July of last year.
"I am really excited about playing Citi Field. The Beatles were the first to play at Shea Stadium and along with Billy Joel, I was the last to sing at the old Shea,” Paul McCartney said in a press release.
"So, to be the first to play this stadium is incredible. I am really looking forward to a buzzing show."
The original Shea performance (which was followed by another by the Beatles in 1966) was the first time in history that a sports stadium was used for a rock concert.
The show set new attendance records at the time, with 55,000 screaming fans in attendance, establishing a new benchmark of popularity for rock. In the years since, a range of top musicians played Shea, including The Stones, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, and Simon & Garfunkel.
Tickets for McCartney's show go on sale Monday, June 15 at 10:00 A.M. EST online exclusively at www.507TIXX.com and by phone at 718-507-TIXX.
The concerts are rain or shine.
Rumor has it a third show may be added, to take place on July 21st.

Recycled homes, one box at a time
CHARLESTON, South Carolina (CNN) -- Magoline Hazelton is used to people driving by her home just to take a look. She's also known as the "house lady" by her fellow residents in North Charleston, South Carolina.
From the outside, Hazelton's home doesn't seem much different from the rest of the neighborhood. But there's one big difference. Her house is made from cargo shipping containers.

Using containers to build homes has increasingly become a trend in the past several years because it can be cheaper and faster than using traditional construction methods. There are also plenty of containers at most major ports.

About 18 million containers are used worldwide to transport a variety of everyday products, such as cars, toys and food. Because the United States imports more than it exports, many containers end up stacked at ports. See one of the homes being built »

SG Blocks, a company whose name stands for safe and green blocks, has made a business from the container overflow.

In Depth: Solutions
Co-founder David Cross previously worked as a merchant marine and spent a lot of time at sea, dealing with shipping containers.

"As you're looking down the deck of the vessel, you see hundreds to thousands of containers perfectly configured," Cross said. "They were stacked nine high below deck, five or six high on deck, and I just kept seeing hotel after hotel on the deck of our ship."
